What Do YOU Do To Fall Asleep?

I heard that if you eat a banana at night that it's supposed to make you fall asleep faster and wake up with more energy. Not sure if it works but its worth a try.
 
^ ive tried the banana thing once, do u have to keep doig it every night so it like works? Cuz i tried it once and gave up cuz it didn't work. Ive tried tea,/warm water/ warm milk, listening to music, tv, it sucks
 
i drink some cough syrup. like im supposed to take a tablespoon and ill take that and a half, puts me right to sleep.
 
stay out of your bed until you're dead tired, if you try to read or listen to music in your bed then it makes it harder to fall asleep. you gotta train your body that you sleep in your bed, and nothing else.

drink some milk

beat one out

take a hot shower-- your body temp goes down when you sleep, getting out of the hot shower mimicks this, makes it easier to sleep

read a book

get drowsy

lie down

pass out

 
this is going to sound stupid, but try to stop thinking, and just try feeling. like just be aware of how your body feels and relax as much as possible.
 
haha ive tried this sooooooo much, becuase i know the reason i cant sleep is becuase im tihnking all the time, soo i try and just take a deep breath and relax, but the next thing i know, im tihnking bout something again. ITS A VICIOUS CYCLE!!! I SLEEP BECAUSE IM UNHAPPY AND IM UNHAPPY BECAUSE I CANT SLEEP!!
 
Whenever I can't fall asleep I just say Fuck it. I won't sleep. Then when I have to get up at 6:30 or something, I am already awake and thustly I won't have to drag my ass out of bed. I'll look like hell all day, and I'll be tired all day too. But THEN, if you don't fall asleep all day you should be tired enough that you can fall asleep easily that night. Then the cycle just repeats.
 
oh man same here. thats why tv's so great. it takes your mind off things so u can go to sleep. ive found it works best when youre watching something you want to watch on low volume, and then each time theres a commercial, just roll over & you'll prolly fall aasleep
 
usually i think about how its proven that if your deprived of sleep you will fall asleep in 3 minutes or less but the average person takes 7-10 minutes to fall asleep, which is a long time to just be laying down, so i figure iv got some time to relax and then once i relax i wake up and its morning
 
I just close my eyes and try to think about absolutely nothing, like a blank sheet of paper. It completely empties my mind, like meditation does. If there are too many thoughts buzzing around in my head at night, I have a tough time falling asleep
 
inhale for 3 seconds exhale for 3 seconds.

tense your body starting from yours all the way to your head, chest and do that a couple times. like a full body flex.
 
When I was younger I had this poster that listed all 150 Pokemon and I would lie in bed reading each name while looking at each picture, and I usually never got to the end...I always fell asleep at Onyx.
 
if you can see a clock from your bed, turn it away from you so you cant.

also try sleeping in as dark a room as possible.
 
i heard someone talking about how if you eat a jalapeno before bed, it will speed up your metabolism and you'll loose weight? the girl i was with in the car said they also give you bad dreams....
 
iv heard this is a true statement and this accualy works for me, when your laying down and trying to fall asleep think about relaxing as much as you can for one part of your body like your legs or arms, so think aobut your arms and relax them, then swtich to your legs or something else, and sometimes it works for me, also i heard eating popcorn makes you get to sleep better too
 
i instantly fall asleep after i rub one out. one time, no joke, as soon as i went i was so tired i fell a sleep with the semen on my wang and stomach and woke up with dry sticky semen on me. it sucked it took a while to get off.
