What do they do with the rails after x games?

Do they reuse the same rails at different x games competitions? Do they give/sell them to parks? Or do they just scrap them? Super curious about this now.

Probably paint them and use them at aspen or sell em to a resort interested and they’ll also repaint them. This just a wild guess, I’m sure someone knows more about it than me

Previously they were donated to Donald Trump's border wall because the organizers of X-Games are notorious Trump supporters but now that he's out of office, I don't know. That's a good question!

Well they keep the course for aspen open then leave it up for the rest of the season from what Ik, sometimes after aspen open they make stuff a bit smaller I think, but yeah I’d assume the big ones made of lots of pipe go to the border wall and the rest go to snow mass or stay at buttermilk

I was so sure the boarder thing was a joke until I read your post now I'm contemplating lol

Spt takes some of them back and generally leaves most of them at buttermilk. There's a ton of old xgames, redbull, etc features lying around that mtn. Occasionally they've used features that bmilk had like the joystick a while back.

Course stays for a bit then if the Aspen Snowmass freeski open is happening will get remodeled a but for that. Cool that you can hit a pretty damn big course for a long time.
