What do people want from a ski based clothing company

Im planning on making a company , i work in a ski shop that covers the uk so theres no distribution problem . i need to know what do people want any designs will be credited and ideas too

Something different that makes you stand out. Also quality products. Not just stupid t-shirts and hoodies with a picture of a skier on it. Be creative.

How will I get credited?

He'll name the brand Rowen Apparel

Also OP, be original. There's so many softgood companies in the industry, and if all you are is an imitation of another, then no one will give you a second look.

One other thing... when you mean ski based clothing company, do you just mean that the products will be clothes sold in ski shops, or intended for skiing?

Definitely look at keeping your prices somewhat low because skiers are usually not willing to spend tons of money on it.

Have an "OG" shirt with just the plain logo but as other people said try and be original

Being active on instagram/facebook/twitter is also always nice with companys

Sponzor me plzzz

So much this. Make really inexpensive tall ts, hoodies and stuff. Maybe even have two lines, one with more quality and nicer products that cost more, and one with nice looking but less expensive stuff. Be creative, and make sure to market stuff on instagram as ^said.

Good luck! PM me if you want any more help with this.

I live in the UK and I'd suggest targeting the university crowd. Every uni now has a ski/snowboard club and they always go on a winter tour. Contact NUCO and similar companies who organise these tours, you can probably get a deal to sponsor them. Also Facebook, twitter, instagram... If nobody knows about the product than it will never sell no matter how good it is. Like everyone else said it needs to original, if its going to be UK based try something like a combination of UK heritage, style and culture combined with obviously a ski/snowboard style. If you can sponsor UK skiers too that would be awesome... people respond well to that sense of community.

Also this is obviously not possible now but if it ever snows enough... doing urban edits in any of the major UK cities would be sick. Imagine a London urban edit... So many sick possibilities!

PM with your ideas I'm graduating now and would love to get involved. (I'm moving to Austria in the winter!)
