What did you get on your SAT

Okay what did u get on your SAT and what college did that score get u into. I took it first the time and got a 1480 i think i can do way better.

i took my SAT's last saturday, prob gonna be a few weeks before scores come out

i think on a diagnostic test thingy i got like a 1900 something, my goal is to break 2100
 
my boyfriend didn't study in at all and got a 1970.. If he'd studied, or taken it twice, I'm sure he could've gotten a 2200-2300 easy. fuckin genius.
 
i didnt study at all. i got baked the night before

i wish i had broken 2200 though, thats the only thing i regret from high school. i always wanted to go to BU though since a few years ago so im wicked happy

and he's the dumbest motherfucker I've ever met.
 
1800, literally doesn't mean shit immediately after being accepted by college.

i went to CU bouldz and now i go to uconn.
 
1400 this year... colleges dont give a shit about writing

got into CU-Boulder school of engineering in the aerospace program
 
a lot of colleges do care about the essay... i know that my 12/12 on the essay definitely helped me. with the college app essay, so many people edit it that it's not even the applier's own writing anymore. since it's under a time constraint and pressure, the sat essay shows how people write themselves and how efficiently they can work

Took mine drunk/hungover from the night before, never saw an SAT in my life. Sucked on the essay because they never notified us of the time but the rest of the test was good.

2000 after studying for maybe 2-3 hours.
Seemed good enough so why take it again. Whoever posted was right, it means absolutely nothing once you're admitted to college.
 
Speak for yourself man, no one edited my CommonApp essay and I'm pretty confident that it was good.
Also I got 2210 on the SATs, didn't apply anywhere early so I'm still not sure where I'll be going next year... also, all the schools in the US teach to the stuff that you see on the SATs it's so fucked, why can't there be a Canadian version of the SATs?
 
yea see this guy knows whats up.. I got pretty much the exact same scores as you man, 630 on verbal and 790 on math for a 1420.

and your application essays matter, its the writing portion on the SAT that doesnt really matter. If your applying to Stanford thats one thing, but you applied to an engineering school like me (Boulder), then it doesnt matter
 
i got like 1350 or 1400 when they were out of 1600. i am currently practicing at home chemistry. i cook crack and meth hit me up if u are in need.
 
Funny, I actually also applied to Boulder engineering but I have yet to hear back. The common app essay definitely does matter but I have had multiple schools blatantly tell me (McGill, UBC, UW) that they do not look at the SAT writing section, at all.
 
haha funny you mention mcgill. that's one school that doesn't give a SHIT about anything besides your SAT, GPA, and academic rigor. they really just don't care about anything.
 
Bryce, you're in the 9th grade..McGill is a Canadian university in Montreal. How the fuck would you know? My Cousin goes there and she didn't write her SAT, there's also about 4 kids in last years graduating class that went there..without writing their SAT's
