To be honest, I don't really care if someone got a ton of stuff for Christmas, I wouldn't call them 'spoiled', just lucky that they have gifters who have money to spend.
If someone were to get 3 cars and Tom Wallisch for Christmas. It may be spoiled to a poor person, but to their financial situation, it may be the regular and maybe less than what they expected. How does it directly affect you that they are spoiled? It's not like since John got a macbook and new skis and tons of clothes for Christmas means that you're gonna get AIDS. (Unless John has AIDS and you exchange bodily fluids of course). Let them get what they get, if it hurts them later on or whatever, it's their problem, not yours. Who cares if someone got a ton for Christmas/their birthday? It's their stuff. It's not like they're taking it from you.
If I'm not hitting the reason that being spoiled is bad, someone please explain.
tl;dr - A rich person's poor could be a poor person's spoiled. And a poor persons spoiled is a rich person's poor
