What did you do after graduating college? Grad school/work/travel&ski

I am in my final year of college in and will be graduating at the end of this year. I am considering grad school after that but I want to weigh up my options and then decide. Tons of people I know have decided to take a year off after they graduate to travel and work at the same time. So here are my options1. Grad School 2. Ski all season and work at a resort 3. Travel, go backpacking in Europe or South America 4. Work a full time job. Who is in grad school right now?

I took a year off to ski and travel, that year has now turned into 3 years and counting. It's been awesome, I ski all season in Japan and NZ and then travel inbetween. Probably not going to go get my Masters for a while now!

i took about a year and a half off and then i realized that an undergrad degree doesn't really mean shit anymore, so I went to grad school.

I graduated with 2 degrees last Spring. After that, I did a semester-long NOLS course to finish up on some credits. It was INCREDIBLE. 94 days in the wilderness? Yes, please. Now I work and live at a lodge in Alta. I said I would go to grad school next year but after getting here, I just want to stay. I'm putting a limit on it though... 3 seasons and then grad school.

Moral: take a year off. Do something awesome. Don't burn yourself out on school just before it actually gets challenging.

I took the summer off then started working in the spring because I ran out of money. If you are like me and don't have wealthy parents this is pretty much your only option. Student loans start kicking in a few months after you graduate and 30k in student loans is a hefty sum.
