well money isnt ever the issue. secondly i live in Harrisburg, i see tool pretty much any time they play with in a few hours of me. ive seen them in pittsburg, philly, east rutherford, DC, baltimore, hershey, and AC i saw them at ozz fest, and both lala polauzas i was at. i also saw them at small venues like the tower tghearter and the tla in philly, chameloen club in lancaster. they are my favorite band and pretty much the only band i make sure i see when they are touring. i have only ever gotten tikets once, my buddies cousin became good freinds with maynard some how in austin, and she got us tickets and backstage passes to the east rutherford show during the lateralis tour.

funny story at a tool show. me and five buddies were at the baltimore aenima tour we had seats lower lever one the side of the stage. (basically they were almost behind the stage and danny carey is amazing to watch from that angle.) any way there is this guy sitting right behind us. he had this smoking hot bitch with him. all of us of course were staring at the broad, except my one buddy kept staring at the dude. finnaly he turns around and asks the guy " are you richard patrick? ( the lead singer of filter)" richard was completely amazed that somebody actually recognized him. we bullshitted with him the rest of the show. and he invited us down to his show the next day in DC at the 9:30 club. it was thier warm up show before they started an euopean tour. he let us back stage and the band even threw a few groupies our way it was freakin awsome. maynard and adam of tool even came down for thier show and were hanging out too. (some other events of the night should not be listed on such a public forum) any way that is my story
