What class sums up your degree.

So I've noticed that almost all of my upper level university courses were just various applications of a single course that I took early on. I thought it would be interesting to see how other people boil down and describe their majors with just one class.

For example, my entire undergrad can be described as differential equations. Pretty much every class my last two years of college employed them in a big way and I spent the majority of my time solving them.

Mechanical Engineer here. Two and a half years in. Knowing the pythagorean theorem, and understanding calculus and linear algebra will get you extremely far.

I never took a class on the Clean Water Act but I’m sure they are out there... kind of wish I had tbh

Thermodynamics and a very basic understanding of calculus 1 concepts

Ocean engineer, Fluid dynamics comes up a lot as well as Diff eq. I'd probably say calc tho just because you pretty much use some form of it in everything
