What city is on the Jeffrey 118?

First off, I love the topsheet of the Jeffrey but I’ve been wondering about the city outline on it. Which city is it? Is it just a made up city?

Idk, on the right side it kinda looks like nyc, but my guess is portland since that is where On3p is based if i remember correctly...

It's San Diego. The F-14 Tomcat (the plane on the ski) has a long history with SD. Top Gun (both the movie and the flight school) was based in San Diego and was best known for its F-14s. Just slightly outside the graphic is Coronado island, which is where the fighters for the Pacific fleet are based when they're not on a ship. There were F-14s constantly flying around that area for decades.

The one on the topsheet is the SAN international airport. You can tell by the docks around it. Miramar is several miles north from the topsheet image

Good catch. Shape of the runways are very similar. Miramar would have made more sense with the f14’s.

I was thinking that but then they would have reversed the image too. Because the taxiways are on the opposite side of each other.
