I am going to be buying either this years Armada ARW's or last year's size 161. I am thinking of buying Marker Squire 2012 90mm break. But I read some reviews that the Squire had some problems. Thoughts?

Look/rossi/dynastar px12s. You can get em cheap. Really you should try and find the rossi axial 100. Thats going to be the nicest low din bindings there is

we can assume shes little, shes buying 161's. We can assume she wont be skiing gigantic lines because she lives in Minnesota.

thats really all we need to know

thats what you want OP. these would be great for you and considerably less expensive than the FKS line. Only problem is they might be slightly more difficult to find because I dont think they are manufactured anymore. Ive gotten a few pairs at second hand stores, granted I live in a ski town

^This, but I am going to assume since you're looking into Squires you need a lower din binding. So to start they are better low din binding in the marker range and on the market currently. The Squire is quite a lightweight binding featuring a lower performance toe and heel pieces. If I was currencly in the market for lower din binding (around12) I would look at:

- Salomon STH12 Driver (make sure to purchase the Driver toe model as opposed to the Oversize)

- Marker Griffon 12 (try to purchase the older model which has some metal in it, I think that's the 10-11, please correct me if I'm wrong here)

- Rossignol Axial2 120/Look PX12 (review here http://aslansskiblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/rossignol-axial2-120-ski-binding-review.html)

You would be fine with an STH 10, but I would go STH 12 either driver or OS. Driver will be better, but you wont definatly need it. Overall a STH 12 driver will be more then enough and be very durable without being over heavy.

Any of these three will work great.

Any of these three will kill it in MN as well as anywhere out west. If your planing to hit bigger features like cliffs and big money booters, get one of the 12 din.

other wise the Axium will work great.
