What bindings should I put on my new skis, read description...

I am about to buy the Line Prophet 100 in a 179cm length from a site that will mount bindings. They have a great selection and are currently on sale, so I figured I should wax 'em, mount 'em, etc. So my question is: what binding should a 5'11" 150Lb 14 year old skier be mounting to the Line Prophet 100? I ski everything, but where I ski often varies. I love Snowbird, where I HIKE and ski and handle all the powder there. I have a place in Deer Valley, so am stuck with the terrible groomers. I have friends who board and ski the Canyons, so will have to resort to bumps, which are not my specialty. I have heard the Marker Griffons are good because they are light when it comes to hiking at the bird. What are your opinions?

Thanks in advance.
P.S. More info available if needed...

Okay, good to know. Pros/Cons? And what is the difference [besides price and name] of the Marker Griffon Bindings and the Marker Griffon Schizo Bindings

the schizo's allow you to adjust the position of the binding, so you can have them be mounted at center when you are charging the park, and then crank them back so you can charge the all mountain stuff.

i have heard some really bad things about marker bindings (plastic, braking brakes, ect.) i have heard nothing bad about fks

get fks 140s

Good to know. Looked at the FKS 140s, only 5.63 LBs, which sounds relatively light for bindings. Much cheaper than any Marker I have looked at. Doesn't sound too bad. Can anyone here who is on them leave a good [or bad] word or two about them...Thanks

theres no way to stop breaks from breaking. all bindings do it at some point. i love my griffons but this is my second season on them and they are beat to shit. the plastic on the back looks like its about to break. other than that they are super light.

think about the look px12 jib. their kind of heavy but its a great all around binding. if you want something light get the salomon z14 titanium

FKS are the shit. They are freakin' bomber and never prerelease. They are also pretty light considering how much metal they have in them.

The brakes kinda suck to replace on them though.

Any FKS > Any Marker
