What are some skis that are narrow ( about 95 under foot), but still float great

I love that we've gotten to the point where 95 underfoot is considered narrow, haha. I highly recommend the Armada ARV. such a solid ski, floats awesome in powder and can handle anything you throw at it, jibs, jumps, pipe, bumps, crud, ice, trees, hell- I've raced on mine before. I will warn you that they start soft, and get softer, which In my opinion makes them super fun for fooling around and blasting through trees, but i know there are a ton of kids on here that truly value a super stiff ski. If you're looking for stiffer and still not super duper crazy wide, go with the TST or Norwalk.

I agree, 2012s, or should I say the Rocker2 90's as they're now called, are one of the best, if not THE best floating 90 waisted skis I've ever skied.

Hah. Remember when the first Seth Pistol came out? 95mm underfoot. Everyone: "That's too fat! There's no purpose for it, it's gimmicky. The Rocket AK at 86mm is as wide as any ski will ever need to be."

Wonder if the generation of skiers who have come by this "95mm is narrow" mindset rely overmuch on current ridiculous-fat ski design to ski pow.

skiiers just got tired of having to ride backseat in the pow.

I fucking hate taking my 80mm waist AR5's through heavy snow. it gives me shin bang just thinking about how far back i have to lean to stay afloat.

now with my Volkl Chopsticks (128mm) i can charge as hard as i want in as deep of snow as i can find, and still keep a centered stance.

It blows my mind watching footage of mcconkey dropping huge lines on his OG straight skis and riding away. My body just cant handle that much backslapping.
