What are some good reasons that would persuade my perents to let me build a set up?

You stay out of trouble.

You wont be doing drugs.

Bond with your Dad when your building it.(unless hes all grumpy and prissy like mine, then you might not want him there)

Learn basic building skills.

You'll become a pro.

ya same my dad hates parks and thinks making a set-up is a waste but i just said i want to mix things up and try park its really fun
 
im lucky enough that my parents are supper supportive and my dad helps build everything and both my parents let me load up the backyard with crap... im almost done with a 20ft flat down flat, its gonna be dopesauce for sure

just tell them it will make u steezier than tom wallisch... then they will understand

tell them that it will add "scenery" to their yard

it won't cost them anything (electricity, gas etc)

just like the guy said a couple posts above, let your dad help you. he will have a better understanding of what your building and or doing and will most likely let you.

just build it anyways if thy still don't listen
 

-building things like drop-ins and boxes teach you how to lifelong skills-it will keep you activethose two could convince your dad. If your mom is complaining about it being ugly, tell her it will be a father/son project. You know just the two of us.............. I dunno might work.
