was trying to cork 7 this jump and couldn’t figure it out

I know i shouldn’t have speed checked but in my other two hits i went way faster and spun slower and still landed the same on my side

what and i doing wrong ? wanna put this to bolts so bad tomorrow but idk what i need to change to land straight up

Have you thrown this on trampoline skis or just a tramp in general? Hard to figure out the rotation perfectly on skis and should be perfected on trampoline first.

Easy fix! The problem is you are not coming out of the cork. Just get a trailing safety grab in there and it will uncork you

hm my buddy said reaching for blunt helps his cork sev’s come around to feet i guess this is the same idea. I guess reaching for a safety will get me less penciled out aswell ?

Fucking animal. That run in is brazy

Flex ur shit, get those skis over. don't pencil like that.

Haha yea kinda shitty the whole run in is a right turn then i have to spin left off the jump. flex my shit as in try to stay more forward in the boots ? and i’m gonna try grabbing a trailing safty to not pencil so hard i think

Yes blunt works well, but safety will be easier to learn. Grabs are your friend for sure! I suggest safety for first grab because it is a great universal grab and helps you transfer grab skills for mute or blunt with this trick.

No like your body, flex ur arms core legs. I'm pretty sure forward shin pressure is good to have though, idk man I dont do jumps honestly lmao.

I have never landed a cork 7 where I didn't get a tail grab. It helps soo much to a) control your axis and b) keep your upper and lower bodies connected. Spotting the grab is very important.

I suck at corks but try to think about these things every time I do them alright.

Looks like your trying to cork a 1620. Focus on looking down at the lip on the take off, your not giving enough off axis rotation.

Thats a ballsy attempt of corking!

You got onto the cork axis very nice which is the hard part. but once you get to 360 or 450 and your back is facing the ground bring you knees up to uncork you and bring you to your feet.

Different grabs impact spin but also the angle you set in. Looked like you could have gone more inverted and that would have helped it come bsck around to your feet. That said some people throw some flatter 7s than that.

Sick that you're getting after it though! Post up when you stomp it!

Just kinda tuck at the end. Like this video you can kinda see how I tuck to pull it around. This isn’t perfect but you can kinda see
