What am I doing wrong with 2s onto a pvc rail?

I was wondering if you guys could be as helpful as last time and explain what I'm doing wrong when I'm doing 2s on? and am I doing this when im just doing it straight aswell?

youre leaning uphill. when youre going off the lip and you start to look over your shoulder, keep your hips forward. that way when you land on the rail youre still balanced over oyur skis.
 
If you were going to jump on a skateboard, you wouldn't lean back. you would just land solid right on the deck. Maybe think about that when doing the trick? hope that helps!
 
Like said above you are leaning "uphill"Dont really know how to fix it but I would suggest not just hucking it around.

I noticed while watching that you werent really looking at the rail. I paused exactly when you landed on the rail and you were still looking back where the set up is. You should be leading with your shoulders aswell as your head so you can kind of spot you landing. Try looking at the end of the rail. Hope this helps.
 
yeah I would build it a lot higher but wood is a real issue, only had scraps of logs, can't really build something secure easily with that without a lot of work, and yeah I see what you mean about the looking behind thing, maybe that's why I can do it pretty much every time straight up, I'll try making sure my eyes are forwards tomorrow.
 
i had this problem too when learning 2 ons. you have to almost throw the trick forward, like lean forward almost, so that you hit the rail ballanced on both skis and not wih so much weight on your back ski.
 
maybe try to spread ur legs a little more and when i do a 2 onto a flat rail i try to focus on staying flat in the air not focusing on the spin as much. the way u land with that back foot on the rail depends on whether u eat shit or stomp it out. so just put that in mind and u should be good. and i can see in ur mind by looking at this video, ur thinking 360 and its pretty hard to 3 onto a rail so think more like 270. hope this helps man...good luck
 
Nearest snow is thousands of miles away, slightly impractical, and my rail slipped out because i hadn't put in a Peg on the end yet.
 
What I mean is, get a taller rail. Just like half a foot or something. Your tips wont hit when you pretzel and you'll be more willing to commit (hopefully).
 
wow you do but at least you have dedication. it will get you a lot further than natural talent ever will...
 
you land with your feet together keep them shoulder width apart, try and make the rails more solid with them not moving, lean into the rail more you lean to much up the rail and thats why you slip out
 
You're landing with too narrow of a stance. You seem to be spotting it right and getting the full rotation with the rail under your feet. Just work on getting a better base and you'll be able to slide them out.
 
you were just being a wussy except for the ones which you actually landed on the rail. you could have got those.
 
It would be nice to see what your 3's look like. Landing on the rail any different won't help till you fix your take off. It's too bad you have no snow, if thru a 3 like that you would be so back seat . Try to think like your an air plane or Jesus and think about keeping your arms parallel to the ground the whole time. Another thing that really helped me with 2 on is, don't think of it as a 2 , throw a 180 spot and bring the last 90 around solely with your lower body, kinda hard to explain but it really help with staying on the rail and stopping your rotation, it also looks gangsta as fuck.
 
make sure you have 3's down on small jumps. NO backseat landings. You need to commit to the 270 on and make sure you land balanced on the rail. Your clearly leaning back too far when you hit the rail which is why your slipping out.

Looks like you have the spin down, just practice leaning forward off the takeoff instead of back. Practice makes perfect, one you have the spin on you need to sissor to stop you rotation

I think you don't get around enough with your upper body on all of your tries, and land with a wider stance would probably help. Good luck.
 
I managed to get it so thanks a lot guys, can do them pretty much every time now so I'm glad.
 
This basically. You need to land on the rail with both feet equally. So you need to spread your stance out a little and pop forward a bit. Remember to stay forward in your boots, keep your chin up and really focus on having your front foot be your dominant. If you lean forward a bit more and focus on your front foot, it should happen.
 
get a wider and lower stance coming in, over emphasize your windup and let it go. Also you just need to work on balance it looks like and having a more controlled spin. practice practice practice.
 
Feel your shins on the front of your boots You will get the rotation onto the rail on lock. THen think about looking at the end of the rail and keeping your weight balanced and get low will help with balance. With those tips you can easily get it and take it to bigger rails.
