thinking of something I can find on www.ultimate-guitar.com and wanna be able to sing along and play chords, nothing intricate. Let's hear your thoughts.

p.s. I am no pro but if you make a good choice I might record it and post it up here for shits and giggles.

Kinda of off topic but... i really new to guitar and sorta of teaching myself. I wonder is some one had a suggestion for a really easy song to learn

thx

just a few:

-Tribute, Tenacious D

-Stairway to Heaven, Led Zep (classic must learn song)

-Wish you were here, Pink Floyd

-Nothing else matters, Metallica

-Love me Two Times, The Doors

those are a few songs that if you practice just a bit are pretty easy and fun to play (Stairway is pretty complicated at first)

i figured it out by ear and its pretty easy the way i do it, i know if you look up the tabs there complicated though, if anyone wants i could probably draw up some of my own tabs its super fun to play

A Walts for rebecca, id be impressed if you actually took the time to learn that. its fun to play but kinda difficult... no words tho so probably not what your looking for

yeah, its easy and people are amazed by it. The best ones are Babe im gonna leave you by zep and black mountain side white summer is a lot of fun to play, but it is in drop D remember

Find an alternate tuning scheme that sounds good to you, learn the scales, and write your own song. Anybody can play Stairway to Heaven.

Agreed for all

Although Tribute is pretty much the same riffs as to Stairway to Heaven.

Dont tell people to learn Wonderwall if they're beginners, its a pretty hard strumming patternto get down, especially if you sing it at the same time.

id recommend some kings of leon

the bucket is really easy cause its basically moving the d chord up and down the frets and then the lead bit is fairly easy too

also im really into this acoustic cover of the postal service at the moment

Learn so Neutral Milk Hotel songs, like King of Carrot Flowers pt. 1 or In The Aeroplane Over the Sea...they're super weird, but not very complicated

Any Bob Dylan

Redemption Songs - BM

Wish You Were Here - FLoyd

I know It's Over - The SMiths

Working Class Hero - Lennon

Strawberry Fields Forever - Beatles

Lola - The Kinks

My Sweet Lord (if you have a capo) - George Harrison

Tears in Heaven - Clapton

Any Donovan

I'm also a guitar noob who learned some easy songs. These songs are pretty easy:

Anyone else but you - The Moldy Peaches

-easiest song I know, 2 power chords, really easy to sing

I will follow you into the dark - Death Cab for Cutie

-just strum it while you're learning and then you can learn the proper picking pattern, a bit more complicated, needs a capo

The Scientist - Coldplay

-4 chords, really easy to play, easy to sing too. needs a capo

What I got - Sublime

-2 chords for most of the song, easy but impressive sounding solo you can learn in 15 minutes. easy to sing.

Wonderwall - Oasis

-retardedly easy to play, I find it harder to sing, needs a capo

You really got me - The Kinks

- if you like power chords this is your song. 4 power chords for the whole song, solo is a bit harder. really easy to sing

I already know stairway to heaven (obviously) it's a pretty standard one to learn and a little bit over done!! ha.
Cool though looking forward to giving them a go x

I'm a sucker for acoustic guitar, unfortunately I don't play the guitar.

Mr Tambourine Man, Bob DylanSweet Baby James, James TaylorNew Slang, The ShinsSuper Mario Bros music

I don't know how difficult they are, though.
