Wets, keys, and surfaces

Currently im riding on a pair of wets that are missing both tip protectors and chunks of edges so an upgrade may be needed. I'm a big fan of vishnu and everything emmet does but I would like something stiffer, if the wets are a 3/10 im looking for a 6. What I like about Vs the most are the lightness of the ski so I know keys could be a good option. But I also wouldn't mind switching to something like surface snipers. If anyone has any advice or experience with these skis it would be greatly appreciated.

I rode keys last season and have a new pair this season. I've got a review on here for them if you're looking for more in-depth thoughts and opinions. They will last significantly longer than any surfaces.

Out of the box for sure but they soften up a lot over time according to my friends who have owned them in the past

Yeaaa that is accurate. I had a pair and over time they will become the softness of a non-plus Vishnu out of the box

Hey, this seems like a good thread to let some info loose. Here are some things in the works for skis next season:

1. Key Plus

2. All skis in the Plus series even stiffer overall

3. Going back to the super fast sintered race bases from years past for the Plus series

4. Doing a resize in the Key, probably something along the lines of 186, 180, 174, 168 or something like that. Debating eliminating 189 Key completely but we shall see.

5. Testing rivets (not actually rivets though, small threaded screws through the topsheet and into the tip protectors) on the Tank prototypes, if they work, putting them on the Plus series.

Overall, making stiff skis stiffer and giving you more bang for your buck with the Plus. Okay good evening

Good info thanks for stopping by. Might be a good idea to just make my wets last til the end of the season.

Soft up front, stiff in the back. They're park skiing perfection. Also idk what 5/10 means.. 10/10 being what?

1 being the softest and 10 being crazy stiff
