Wet Plus VS Mango 90

I'm just going to be straight forward. I'm pretty bad at park but I've been wanting to get into it. I know that I'm going to fall a lot and destroy skis but I don't want to destroy my all mountain ski. I want something with durability, light and an all around park ski but also able to use on groomers and I've been looking between the Wet Plus and Mango 90 but can't decide. I see that the Wet pluses are cheaper but I don't know if that compromises durability. If someone could help me that would be great.

Thank you!

I just got a set of mango 90s for park only. I’m pretty trash at park so I’m in the same situation. They feel very light, and the edges are a lot better quality than my factions. (Not that factions are super high quality to begin with.) Wets are definitely more oriented to urban/street skiing. So if your planning on park/groomers I’d say go for the Mango 90s. Not that the Wets are a bad ski. You could also checkout ON3Ps “factory find” section I got my Mango 90s with a sweet top sheet for $599.

Alright then I think I'll go with the mango 90s and the factory finds seem pretty good priced with the things I've heard about mangos. Also a bit of a dumb question but did they discontinue the magnus or did those just become the mangos?

Thank you so much for your help!

I *think* they disconnected the Magnus 90s, cause Magnus went to 1000 skis. But I think the Mango 90s are the same damn thing just with a different letter. The Mangos are ON3Ps dedicated park/rail lineup.

They are a different ski, they have a different footprint that the magnuses.

Just got these in the mango 90. I swear by the 90 for park I have found wide skis to be nicer for rails but tech tricks I reach for a more narrow underfoot.

Have you used them in the park yet?

Not yet they came in yesterday and I live on the east coast. I have the original filthy rich with this top sheet. Looks like these have a light detune compared to the magnus 90 which was fully rounded. These definitely do not have the same rocker as my old ones for sure

Vishnu if you think you will be blowing through skis. More affordable. Used un beat to shit 3p's are a good idea as well.

Vishnus are built to pretty questionable standards and I’ve yet to see a pair last very well. Most people with on3ps get at least a year or sometimes even two out of them.
