i'm sorry. but you've got to be kidding me.

you guys really want to pay money to support another stock webisode series. family vacation wasn't unoriginal enough..

this is directed specifically at Mr. Bishop

you are claiming that you want newschoolers to promote skiing in a fresh and badass way. i'm referring mostly to the First Drop ads that you were claiming were controversial and therefore good for the website..

so why would you host this entire pilot project contest to support a webisode series that is no different than the last one that you supported. i get it. westward made top 3 last year and now this is their year for redemption. but honestly. who cares.

I'm done with this website. you guys are pathetic. I'm pissed we didn't win and heres why. i had no interest in making money from this pilot project, getting some skis, having a countdown or whatever

the skiing in our edit murdered and will continue to murder much harder than WESTWARD TV. the first webisode we planned to release will blow Westwards nonsense out of the water

i can say this with confidence because i wasn't going to create the first webisode. it would have been a movie from the summer in hood river and i was going to give all $300 to our homies in hood river who produced the movie.

well. thats not going to happen.

I'm being a bitch and ranting cause this is wack. this is beyond wack. you guys have disappointed a ton of ppl not just me.

i'm done contributing to newschoolers. i make ski edits to expose our sport to a larger audience. not to bore the hell out of ppl with interviews, mellow urban rails, and park footage

Newschoolers needed something different and based on the contest entries, Westward wasn't it. Pretty disappointed in the decision.

Totally wish THC won. I thought the Westward edit was alright, but the THC edit was one that I could watch for hours on end without getting bored.

Dude have some pride, I lost too, all the videos were different vibes but all were on point in my opinion. Just try again next year and keep producing sick shit, you will be fine without the prize money im sure of it. No need for this.

I am sorry, I haven't been following this whole pilot contest at all but I can say that I really didn't see anything overly different as you have been claiming.

Generic edit- we jump off cliffs, we like trampolines and can do corks on them, we can ski and over edit almost every shot. And don't tell me you didn't because there was a lot of editing on various sub par clips as well as the lack of flow or anything, just random song after song after clip after clip, I struggled at the 2 minute mark but stuck in it hoping it would get better. No, I don't have the skills to be in or make a better edit, but that doesn't mean that I can't give an honest critique, hopefully you don't just knock it off and try to accept it and improve.
 
yeah westward's edit i couldnt sit through cause i was bored as fuck. but no you SHOULDNT have one and u didnt ( so thats good cause your edit blows too). but THC should have won
 
ive been here for a decade and see this every year, politics and money are in control everywhere.ive applied for nstv for a couple of years with no respnse only to see everyone else vids post up.

i always understand when people get this pissed off at this site and people like Heath and DTF,

I agree with him. What the fuck is wrong with this place? Why do kids want to watch boring shit when they can watch THC abuse women do dirty tricks and break themselves off? THC webisode would have gone down in history. Now you guys just voted on another mediocre webisode. Anyone who doesn't feel the same way is not someone I would want to take laps with. Briggs will be hucking dubs off of some random sketchy shit and scrappy will be banging out the best front swap to pretzels in the game and I will be stuck listening to lame music and watching filler of pine trees.

Honestly getting butthurt on the internet is pointless as fuck but... he's right the webisode that did one sucked hard and the THC footage was sick, shinefest is for sure my most watched movie out this year.

You guys better fucking drop the next movie, just don't upload that fucker on NS if you're pissed, the traffic can go elsewhere. People still gonna watch that shit and love it. But seriously, please drop it, i've been stoked since i saw it was coming...

The winner was determinded by NS admins, Epic Planks and AKrieg. It was a fucking vote, and more than that, something not completely reliant on NS. MiniMeDanny, quit being such a fucking pissy whore, and everyone else questioning this pick - try to do it yourself instead of bitching! Hell, Westward wasn't even my favorite but if it's something, it's fucking solid and that's often what companies and communities look for when FUNDING projects, something that will keep on going and trucking when all is said and done, nevertheless setting someone up for more grandure within the industry.

And finally, it's ONLY 1800 DOLLARS FOR ONE SEASON!!! Chump fucking change compared to the overall cost of going skiing in itself! Split that money over gas, tickets and a few terabytes of storage and it's gone in less than two weeks! Some of you have no fucking idea about money, no fucking idea how the world turns and most of all no fucking concept of ______

Nothing fresh about it and we thought that hood crew would have had a lot to offer in the webisode series. Not to mention that danny put in some work editing and making the entry
 
hell i wish i could afford to camp in the woods all summer and ski, but unfortunately I cant and I have to work over the summer just so I can ski in the winter.
 
well shit son i also work 50 hour weeks at night driving a cat im jus sayin we work all night ski all day and are broke bc shreddin all year round is expensive no matter how u put it...
