For those of you who haven't been before, the Westminster ski sale is a great place to get cheap gear.

Here's the email I got from Jack Stauss, who is organizing the event:

Every year we invite local pro and am skiers and snowboarders to come down to Westminster to sell off their old/ new gear for sick deals.

Last year we had a real good turn out both with pros selling hard and soft goods and kids hangin out getting hooked up, so come check it out!

Come early and bring cash.

The room of the sale has changed from upstairs in HWAC to the actual gym itself.

See you there!

The date is October 22nd- Set up starts at 1:30. Its in the gym on campus, 1275(ish) East, off 1700 South. It's in the gym in the sports complex on campus, right near the parking structure.

I know that last year Oakley was selling factory seconds (basically brand new goggles, just not in the box) and Sterbenz from 4frnt was selling skis at stupid cheap prices. Lots of the 4bi9 riders and kids from Variety pack will be around to sell old skis and gear (great to get some cheap urban skis so you don't trash your park skis).
 
oakley had epic deals when I went a couple years ago, they accepted pretty much any lowball offer too except on the really expensive stuff.
 
I didn't sell anything. Kids are cheap. But some people made bank, and a bunch of kids got HOOKED UP.

We got chewed out by the boys AND girls basketball teams several times for bumping hip hop too loud. (it wasn't that loud).
 
i know this thread is from last year, but does anyone know if this is going to happen again this year. im coming from the east coast and will definatly be in need for some pow skis
 
I'm pretty sure it's annual, and I think they're doubling it up to make it a benefit this year to honor a local skier who passed away this year-- at least that's what I've heard. All around good cause if you get the chance to check it out.
 
Yes, we will have a couple sales over the course of the fall. If you have any questions about the club hit me up on here, or come find our table during orientation.
