im not going to join the bandwagon and blame the liberals for the pussification of todays youth. (by the way anyone who has seen a good amount of george carlin material would recognize that a lot of his jokes about this very topic are being ripped off) but i will say this, and i dont consider myself to be too hard or anything, but i truthfully believe the problem is the access to frivolous technology.
before you shit on me about hating technology, i will tell you i dont. i am on my way to being an engineer, i like physics, and i absolutely love the age we live in, in terms of technological advancement....by that i DO NOT mean smartphones, iPads, video games etc. i know you may be thinking im a hypocrite for being on newschoolers, but aside from school/research stuff i spend at most between 30-45 mins. a day on ns/facebook.
i believe the pussification is due to the virtual world most shitbrains live in 24/7. they dont have to grow the balls to start a real fight, they can do it online. they dont have to learn any sort of social skills. they can do everything from a fucking couch. of course i see the benefits of all this technology, it has legitimate value for those who are self-disciplined enough not to let it absolutely waste them...but seriously, until there is more discipline in keeping kids away from prolonged use of technology in the name of mindless bullshit, then yes. were only going to get softer.
