West Coast Nuclear Winter

Ummm.. looks like the west coast is about to get battered down to some seriously low elevations...

I'm actually really annoyed all of a sudden I am not there because I would love to go ski tour some of these places that are only skiable a few times in a lifetime...

I mean... there are winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings in places like Riverside, Escondito, and El Cajon - places that are infinitely more likely to be featured on the cover of Thrasher than Powder (rip)...

There is a literal blizzard warning in the mountains north of LA - literally half of LA county is under BLIZZARD WARNING that's unreal.

San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose are all under frost advisory... The entire northern COAST of California from Point Arena to the Oregon Border is all under winter storm warning - at th Ocean. Stockton, California - in the pit of the San Joaquin Couny - Winter Storm Warning.

It all extends into Oregon, with all of Western Oregon to the Ocean being under winter storm warning... Portland has a wind chill advisory going on - that's shit you usually only see in like, Canada and stuff.

Pretty unprecedented, and I cannot wait to see all the wild places people are about to get to go skiing over the next few days...

it really is interesting. you know what i'm gonna say though...

dude, what if it snowed in san francisco?

I remember one year got a dusting in LA. Would have been so cool to strap in and hit even the dumbest jib with the hollywood sign in the background. Or hit some legit classic skate spot if enough snow.

Def cool when you get to ride a spot that hasnt had snow in maybe 10-15. That guy that skied all 50 states. It's kind of kooky but totally not. Maybe not something I'd pursue but i get the drive.

If you hit anything interesting post up. I will be riding the mtn i work at and going nowhere else because thats what i do these days apparently. I am gonna road trip to a couple other mtns with some of the guys from the crew at some point.

Also, if anyone does try and hit stuff, be fucking careful. People can't drive for shot in general. People driving in snow for the first time on un plowed roads is spicy.

Would love to see some spots where you're like "No fucking way! Thats gotta be fake"

I wonder how many homeless people are gonna be freeze to death while a bunch of millionaires just watch from telescopes in their house on the hills. ?

Highly untrue. First of all, because they dont have a home.

In newschoolers fashion, this thread about weather turned into an argument about the homeless. Newschoolers, a forum that cares.

Listen man all I'm saying is at least 5 homeless are gonna be frozen solid this weekend. It's easy being freezy when you are high on meth and the government is inside your fabric walls.

this is clearly a result of the man made climate change models coming to fruition - some guy who might have a marketing degree.
