We're building a base on the moon...

i've heard about this, i think it's great. it's always pissed me off that we have yet to go back to the moon.
 
Bush wants to go send people back to the moon because he hopes there is oil there. then he'll start a war with the martians over it.

 
that'd be interesting to work there. they said they're going to have people stationed there.

i think NASA needs to be funded more since that is most likely where the future is at. we know that someday this Earth will be uninhabitable, it just depends on when. better find out what's out there sooner than later.

That would suck to work on the moon. Sure it's the moon, but there is nothing to do up there. All you can do outside is walk around. HOW EXCITING!!!

If the government got rid of NASA altogether and let the private companies have a chance, we would have a base on the moon before 2020 garuented, and as for the future of the human race i think that space exploration is much more important then throwing endless billions of dollars at ending poverty or other bullshit like that.
 
does anyone regulate space? like if I wanted to go to space and had the budget to make it happen could I? I mean no one owns space after all theres nothing to own. And if you built a rocket that could get into space and had food and water and shit could you just blast off? I mean its not like theyre going to develope a space ship with weapons and rockets just to go up there to blow u up. I mean u could chill up there and do whatever the fuck you want. bush would say come down and u can just say make me and they wouldnt do shit. How dope would that be? i wonder why terrorists havent thought of this.... ISS.... sattelites...... communications....... TV!!!!..... think about it it would take a long time to stop a terrorist if they got into space they could really fuck us over. I mean terrorists are broke but still I wonder...
