Those are acutally pretty sick. Star filter was overused a bit in the non-carlight streak one. other than that they were solid.

No star filter, that's just the way the sensor picks up light like that.
Canom XS with an 18-55mm and a 24-85mm, by the way.

how did you get the blur effect?

Exported them through Lightroom, so yeah, the EXIF data is gone. Sorry, though some basic information should show up on the Flickr pages.
And about the blur effect, I just set the camera to Tv (shutter speed priority), set it to around 1/20th or 1/30th of a second, and just followed the cars as they went by and shot.
