Was this what started the fire in cashmere? It turned our sun orange for a week and now the Russian fires are makeing it pink and greenish. Atleast in Woodinville it is.

the entire photo is UNDER exposed, except for the lightning bolt? Which is a direct source of light, so of course it will be over exposed.

you point your camera in the general direction of the lightning, put it on a shutter release with a long exposure, then hope lightning happens in the exposure time + tolerances.
