Welding Project Ideas!

Hey NS, so i have to make something for my welding and manufacturing class for culminating so i need some ski related ideas. My teacher wont let us make rails or anything so iwas gonna make a box and call it a bench but if you have any ideas whether its jibs that can be used or disguised as something else or any other ski related ideas let me know it would be highly appreciated! thx.
 
Build a "box" that has a lid and you can open and put tools in and jib it if you want. Or just build a tool box you will have for life.
 
try seeing if he will let you build a more complex rail with different angles. when i wanted to build a rail my teacher said no, because when most kids build rails, it's a flat bar with two legs on it, would take me 15min to make. if you show him a diagram of kinked rail or something along that line that's reinforced and will take some planning and work to build,buff,paint. etc. he might change his mind.

If not, build some frames for boxes, and just say your going to use them as flower boxes.
 
our metals teacher doesnt even care what we do. Only if were doing something. You could make a go cart. A kid in my school is doing that and its looking pretty sweet.
 
Thx for the ideas guys keep em comin and yeah E.J.M he probably would let me do that i was thinkin the same thing. And the ski press is a cool idea.
