Website to find concerts

does anyone know of any websites that will notify you of concerts in your area? I can't seem to find one.

I don't know about notification, but pollstar.com usually has a pretty extensive list of artists coming to your town.
 
Funny that no one uses myspace anymore though. It seems to have officially switched to facebook. And this is the most accurate/quickest way of finding out. I am sure that there are a number of bands that you follow (updates/videos/etc.). Just wait for tour updates.
 
Ticketmaster does for the shows they're connected to. I like to get on the mailing list of bands im into, that way I don't miss a show. Can't wait for Gaslight Anthem in TO!
 
yup. Buy tickets from local record stores or the box office. It will end up being a lot cheaper. After the slap on taxes, shipping, and "convenience fees" or some shit, you end up paying at least $10 more.
 
I'll buy tickets from them any day, The real greedy ones are the fuking scalpels who buy thousands of tickets and fuck everyone over

I went to a concert that was $15 and my total ended up being $16.50. probably costed more in gas money to go the the record store.
 
I can't believe that. When I bought tickets for a $20 Protest the Hero show it ended up costing me around $27.
 
Lol sorry it autocorrected from my iPhone. And my local record store is the ticketmaster outlet for my area. Unless you buy online they're pretty fair
