NS,

I know '96 Legend Films is hated around here but I'm just looking for some feedback on the website,
http://www.96legendfilms.com

Be as harsh as you want, I'll give +k to everyone who gives me advice! I know the ads on the right are screwed up, I'm just learning adsense and such so don't worry about that. Clicks on ads are appreciated

Thanks

i dont know alot about web design but on the home page, i think the pictures should have one alignment. they just kinda seemed all over the place. some were centered, left aligned and some right aligned. only other thin i noticed was under matt dinardo's section on the home page, there was a huge gap before the next section.

Looks pretty good in my opinion though

yeah my company was a complete joke and still for the most part is but we are picking up slowly haha despite all the ns hate

calling somebody that he films or gets edits from and posts them doesnt make them a team rider. In that case i would have tons of "team" riders if you counted everybody I film.

No we send them free tall tees, sticks, and sweatshirts. The crew neck on the site isn't for sale it's just to test out the product site

Well for one thing... you're NOT getting $150 a month from AdSense. I run 25+ websites that get thousands of visitors a month. I tested ads for 6 months and made $3. And you're using a free theme on Wordpress, the least you could do was pick an attractive one.

- Remove the ads

- Make all the graphics consistent resolution, size, etc.

- Pick a different theme

- Get rid of the Facebook box, use the like button instead

Sorry totally forgot about the adsense thing so everyone ignore that...I can't promote it at all...and yes I actually am ive made 85 dollars in the 2 weeks its been up. Thanks for the advice everyone I'll try to fix the pixel thing asap and ads.

Web design is tricky, especially when you're dealing with a website that you want to bring in a profit. Definitely try and work on getting a consistent layout for those athlete profiles, same image size, same alignment, repetition is really important in making a professional looking site.

Also try to throw some more contrast in there, you've just got a monochrome color scheme (same color, different shades). Throw something eye-catching in there, especially the ads (cuz thats where your money is coming from), maybe a color thats a lot different to grab the readers eyes. (Notice the gold box right under the ns logo, it gets your eye on it)

Also, try to keep the home page simple. A big mistake people make on the web is trying to put too much content on the home page. Despite it being simple, make it eye catching so a sick picture or a new vid. An example, check out Armada's site. People will be more likely to stay if they see something sick right off the bat, rather than a shit ton of content. (Take a look at some university websites, I know I've never looked at a dam thing on mine, but theres so much stuff there)

I hope this helps.

Also are you using a program like dreamweaver or doing the code yourself? If you're doing the code yourself, I'd consider throwing everything in one big container to make the site stay together and fluid, like NS's.

Props for finding a way to do what you love, fuck the haters.
