UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR WILL BEGIN MOVING INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON TUESDAY NIGHT BEHIND A VIGOROUS COLD FRONT... AND IT WILL REMAIN OVER THE AREA INTO THE WEEKEND. THE ARRIVAL OF THE COLD AIR WILL BRING UP TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW AT HIGHWAY PASS LEVELS IN THE CASCADES TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. BY THURSDAY HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWLANDS OF WESTERN WASHINGTON WILL CLIMB ONLY INTO THE 40S... ABOUT TEN DEGREES BELOW NORMAL... AND OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DROP BELOW FREEZING IN MANY AREAS.

THE INITIAL COLD FRONT WILL SWING THROUGH WESTERN WASHINGTON TUESDAY ... ASSOCIATED WITH A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE CENTER MOVING FROM THE GULF OF ALASKA ACROSS BRITISH COLUMBIA. A SECOND FRONT WILL DROP THROUGH THE AREA FROM THE NORTH ON WEDNESDAY. THE SNOW LEVEL IN THE MOUNTAINS... CURRENTLY AROUND 12000 FEET... WILL FALL QUICKLY TO AROUND 2000 FEET TUESDAY NIGHT AND TO AROUND 1000 FEET LATE WEDNESDAY. WINDY CONDITIONS WILL ACCOMPANY THESE FRONTS... ADDING TO THE EFFECT OF THE COLDER AIR. A DRY OFFSHORE FLOW WILL DEVELOP BY THURSDAY... BUT THE COLD AIR WILL REMAIN OVER THE AREA INTO THE WEEKEND.

PEOPLE DRIVING INTO THE MOUNTAINS AND VENTURING INTO THE BACKCOUNTRY SHOULD PREPARE FOR THIS DRAMATIC CHANGE TO WINTER CONDITIONS MIDWEEK.

HELL YA!!

also, i don't think any said snow will happen. its still gonna be like upper-mid 50s tuesday. wednesday it gets fuckin cold though, like mid-40s for the high down here, and some rain. but then it gets real sunny, so the snow (if any) isn't going to last.

it'll be like that one day last year kevin. we should go up wednesday for like an hour or two.

be aware, ski with care

i don't know how late i'll be at school till. probably like 2 the latest, so i guess we would have enough time. why do you say the snow wont last? its gonna be cold enough tuesday night for tit to start snowing and sticking then it will continue through weds. and yes its gonna get sunny, but still cold.

Grinding planetary rings would be incredibly difficult, not the least for which because there is no surface per se to slide on, and the collisions of the pieces of asteroid, dust and ice in the ring would make an environment that would not be pleasant. Your blood would first boil in the vacuum of space, leaving you so incapacitated that you could not maintain sufficient balance if there was a surface to grind, and then the temperature would freeze your skin, shatter your eardrums and sever your optical nerves because your watery eyeballs would freeze and then shatter. In the next split second, hundreds of particles of dust, ice and rock smaller than the size of this comma ',' would rip through your ski coat and body, instantly killing you. Your body would then still float about getting cut to shreds by the fragments until it is crushed between two colliding pieces of debris, eg two asteroids within the ring, which would grind your frozen body and regrettably snap your boards, boots and bindings, into dust to float around and become part of the massive debris fields that are the rings of Jupiter.

nevermind, its raining instead of snowing.

hmmm, i would doubt that, but still hmmm. but in the mean time, the infrared will be eating away at the dusting we have, leaving nothing.
