Wear your helmets kiddos...(this is a long one)

Dude, first of all, your goin gto go big again next year. I had a bad injury once and told myself I wasn't going to go big again, but I was bored as hell so I went big again.

Also, I realize you are from Pittsfield. Do you ski at bousquet. Were you the one that was pulling switch sevns and other crazy shit this year? Cause that guy was wearing all line, so I suspect it's you.

Can you also please tell me what urbasn you hit in Pittsfield, because all I could find this season was two medium sized doen rails at the Lenox school

Thanks.

word helmet is a usefull tool to protect your intelligence and life. that's why I'm always wearing one.

i used to not wear a helmet until this year where a rail jam required me to have one, so i bought a 10mx and now if i even click into my bindings without it on i feel naked. the things come in handy

John -

I've got a lot of respect for your attitude. You can still have a hell of a lot of fun skiing without putting your body and brain at risk. Just by keeping it mellow and slowly working your way up to things a lot of injuries can be prevented.

he goes to college at uvm now but was at bousquet for a little bit....he was doin like underflips over the hip and some other crazy shit like that

but for rails check out morningside school off tyler street and crosby school....theres another good quad kink at some church on that road that goes next to pontusac lake and leads into chesire

my dad made me wear a helmet since i was 4 i havent skied without one since, it has saved me a bunch of times im glad someone that people can respect and get along with came out and said how important helmets are (not the old guy in the neon jumpsuit)just last weekend my ski poped off and went into the air and came down straigh onto the top of my head cracking the back of my helmet at least it wasnt my skull

This is great advice. I have worn a helmet everyday for the last 5 years. I had one fall, on a line at Mammoth that I had skied many times, that changed it for me. I did not get hurt, but I easily could have hit my head on some rocks. That changed it for me. I will never ski without a helmet again.

a tree just gave me number 5 and my helmet's single impact... and supposedly a possible tiny hole in my lungs but doctors are expensive

i would also be completely fucked without a helmet

i was learning 270s onto stuff, and i tried one onto a rail, did a 180, (this was an up rail), landed on my ass, then whiplashed my head into a rail. I saw red for a while, then was all blurry. But i got up after like 5 mins, and could ski again. Thank god for helmets
