We need more users

The whole old school forum site thing has been dying off pretty quickly thank's to Insta, twitter, people becoming comfortable with their previously uncool, unpopular or taboo interests, etc. Im pretty stoked the NS community still exists as it does today actually.

Yeah, forums as a whole have taken a massive hit in the last few years. The whole setup needs to be re-thought out and modernized.

I too am stoked that the community here is still kicking around. It's not as crazy busy as it once was, but there isn't nearly as much junk being posted either.

Forums and the whole culture around them need to rapidly adapt to an increasingly mobile world.

Things do seem to have gotten a quite a bit..hmm cleaned up? Like what's his face, uhhgg well it for was sure many different people creating many different account to make shitposts and shit threads all over the place here.. damn can't remember his name or the many iterations, im sure you do. He seems to be gone, and his ilk. And for sure, I've been thinking about that for awhile but god damn its a conundrum, how can we progress, like yeah the mobile site is cleaned up and good to use now, that only does so much though, its still the same basic concept..Newschoolers app? Im sure thats been suggested already, itll be tough... NS seems like on of the best situated internet cultures to be able to move on and not die out though, NS is much more than just a forum its like a strange off beat piece of free skiing's already fucky soul. Like this place his brought so many dude's (and ladies) up; skiers, photographers, cinematographers, journalists, the list has gotta be huge! this thing is a cornerstone of free skiing, and god damn load bearing wall. And the hype spread! Skiing would'nt be the same without this place, I for sure wouldn't be the same skier without it, hell id probably still be dating that damn hoe, struggling my ass off in hammertown, fuck that. Whatever happens im confident NS can adapt. Like shit im looking at the online list right now im seeing some seriously influential parts of freesking, they may be some debauched hooligans like the hoodcrew but damnit thats fucking freeskiing, Piffing for life.

shit there's my rant for the night

There is no purpose to having more users... what would it even accomplish??

The new generation doesn't know free skiing was taboo at one point.

They might not even know that snowboarders make fun of skiers even to this day.

There are never going to be gapers on snowboards the same way as with skis

Even dudes like tanner hall, who started as a mogul skier, denounces his origins

Newschoolers is ancient because most kids have access to technology, but they aren't using it to waste time on lame message boards...

the future is video games and users that would otherwise be here are now trying to get spawncered in call of duty...

I am 17 and I personally love forum websites. I am a roller coaster addict so i follow a lot of theme park forums. When i found newschoolers, i feel in love. I may just be the odd one out for my age group but I don't like having to follow all the athletes on instagram posting the same dumb edits. If something crazy happens, ill find it here.
