Just came across this band because my roommate was listening to them. We're actually seeing them this weekend in a show alongside The Devil Wears Prada (I'm super stoked). Has anyone else heard of them? I think they have a really unique sound in a genre of music that is often hard to stand out in.

Here's a link to their myspace. I'm a particular fan of the song Intentions, the lyrics, "We are nothing without brotherhood, and brotherhood is nothing without brothers," is so great. Anyways, great band, check them out.

i'll say right off that i've only just listened to these guys since reading this thread, but they don't seem that dope to me. Maybe since i don't even like tdwp my opinion shouldn't even count, but these guys just don't do it for me. I'm more August burns red, Texas in july, that vein. Show me something like them and then i'll get stoked
 
That's no problem, everyone is entitle to their opinion. I am a pretty big fan of ABR, but haven't been listening to them as much the past couple years. Looks like you are into heavy bands than WCAR or TDWP (I don't know what Texas in July sounds like). Do you like (or have you listened to) As I Lay Dying, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, or Norma Jean?
 
Wow! Freakin' best concert I've ever been to. I'm uploading some videos now (not that anyone will be interested).
 
we almost opened for them. i love their music. great drumming too.check out "a current affair", as well
 
sorry for the double post, but look up "oh sleeper" and "destroy the runner" as well as "he is legend"
another band to check out is "close your eyes"
 
He is Legend is a sweet band. I've heard of those others but never listened to their music. I'll check them out.
 
oh sleeper is a personal favorite.
also, blindside, was, is, and will remain my favorite band of all time.
 
I don't know man... Attack attack come on that has to be the worst thing to happen to metal. As for newer metal bands The Human Abstract is fucking deadly.

I like Attack Attack! at least some of their stuff. But I think WCAR is different from Attack Attack. As for The Human Abstract, I don't know...they are talented and all, but they are very unique sounding to me. They don't really do it for me.
 
Sweet dude. Kyle is awesome. I had him on my shoulder at one point in the show yesterday. He definitely had the best stage presence though the whole band was super sick.
