Ways to fix my ft buckle

So i came home from skiing yesterday and couldn't adjust my bottom buckle on my hot doggers , which is cranked to the tightest setting possible. it looks like the little button that you use to adjust will not engage, to let the buckle slide. So the question is now, has anyone had this happen, and is there a way to remedy this issue without biting the bullet and buying a replacement. any help = +k

I think something like Jigaloo would work well because it doesn't erode the plastic, try that.

Same thing happened to me. You just have to push the little button down harder and it will release
