i had an the vinyl NS sticker on my skis and it fell off after the first day of riding them. i was super sad and i dont want this to happen again. what do you guys do to keep them on your skis?? thanks

take your ski inside when you put it on, let it get COMPLETELY dry, leave it for a few hours if you were just out in the snowtowel dry it evenput the sticker on smoothly from one corner/ side and let it roll onto the ski sorta, use a ruler or straightedged thing to slide out air bubbles. try to make no bubblessmooth over it a bunch with a ruler, push down on it, push down on all the edges or parts where it could peel awaylastly, hit it up with a light blow dry with a hair dryer, not too too hot but still warm and let it set in nicelyhopefully that should keep it there, works for me.

the "v" in my level 1 sticker came off the first day, now i'm stuck with "le el 1"

any easy way to remove stickers?

Step 1: Windex spot where sticker will go

Step 2: Dry Windex with paper towel

Step 3: Apply sticker

Step 4: Smooth down

Step 5: Blow dry with a hair dryer

Wallah!

make sure the surface is clean & dry, and if they are the vinyl kind take a coin or use the top of your fingernail and rub them on there really well. i was decorating my wakeboard last summer and a couple of my stickers fell off, needless to say i was sad...

weird im not sure.... the ski had never seen snow when i put the sticker on. it was clean and dry. i even got a ruler when i was done and ran it over it to push it down more. still came off today.....

I lost almost all the letters in my First Drop sticker, its now First p. Kinda depressing!

i feel like this would more or less do the opposite, how to apply stickers-

bring skis inside for 24 hrs, clean area where sticker is going with windex, apply, press firmly/no air bubbles, peel off excess and whatnot

another tip is don't put them right where ski to ski contact is high, like right behind the heel piece of bindings (stepping out of them hits the sticker sometimes) or right in front of the toe piece (mute grabs)

i put mine on the nose or tail, and they last

i put it on my tip or tail and take a lighter to it real quick. i have a smith sticker on my tip (ala scotty lago i think) and applied it with this method and it has stood up to 30 + days of skiing.

it also helps if your skis are room temp before you put it on. i put a dicut on my skis after skiing (they were dry) and it peeled off much quicker then when i put it on in room temperature.

This was the best answer in the whole thread.

Just paint it on along the edges of the sticker. Works like a champ. They also make a specific product for doing the same thing, but nail polish is way cheaper.

Just take off the remaining part of drop and you'll have a "first" sticker. Now all you need is an exclamation point!
