waxing skis?

alright-

gimme the low down. i jus got a monster scratch in the bases of my 1080s and it needs to be filled. i don't feel like throwin' down $20 for my shop to do it, so could you guys either give me some good how-to links to check out, or explain to me how-to go about waxing my skis without fucking them up?

what tools do i need? what wax should i get?

yeah, p-tex is easy, you just gotta have the scraper... and once that is finished just wax the like normal. i hope you werent asking how to fill in the scratch with wax.

i hate how homedone P-tex looks though....cause its been on fire..but it sure is fun to do

i would pay your local shop to do the big stuff and practice yourself on the little stuff you want your ski to ride well right?
