Waxing pvc?

just finished my set up and was wondering if i needed to wax it. somebody may have posted something like this before but my ipods being gay and wont let me look. plz no hate
 
nope. unless your skis are really sharp then there may be a need to. if its a bit sticky, just put some water/snow on it. over time you should wax it though, just fo durability.
 
is there anything i should know about turn my set up from winter rail to spring/summer set up. anything i should do?
