if your just want to wax just get a cheap iron from wal mart a stick of wax and a scraper. thats all u relly need for basic waxing.

ya or go to good will or your grandmas house and get the cheapest iron oyu can find its all the same, then get a stick of wax and a plastic scraper and oyu are set.

most ski shops will have wax, base cleaner, scrapers, brushes, etc...they usually have irons too, but they are expensive, i got mine at value village and it works fine.

I bought an iron for 25 cents at a garage sale, works great for waxing...

don't bother buying a iron from a skiing store. The ones that they say are specially made for ski and shit like that, WAY over priced. just buy a little travel iron, its better not to have any steam holes in it but if it does its no big deal,

for waif you only wax every once in awhile than all temp s the best bet, but if you wax your skis a lot then try to pick the right temp, if you want faster wax you can get lowfluro's but i doubt you will need that,

now just get scraper and your set, oh and if you tune your edges i would recomend you get a 2 degree, thats my person prefernce for freeskiing

it shouldn't cost you more than 25 bucks to get set up. I didn't even have an iron I could use, used a blowtorch, worked perfectly hahah.

Dude I was fine before you tried to turn me into a cake - me after ralphing after being antiqued

What you need is a iron, SKI wax, a plastic scraper, and a metal/Plastic bresh. If you can get a rectangular iron w/out holes that is good. Reliableracing.com is really good if you want i high performancekit, or individual. But be sure to get the wax at the right temp for you area. Also don't but the iron's temp. too high.

i use my mom old clothes iron, works great and i use just basic para wax when i wax skis, works perfect

to put the wax on it would be easy but to try and spread it with a blowtorch is jjust retarded
