Does anyone load up their skis with wax to slide smoother? Well you should

* Always stay in control.

* People ahead of you have the right of way.

* Stop in a safe place for you and others.

* Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield.

* Use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.

* Observe signs and warnings, and keep off closed trails.

* Know how to use the lifts safely.

I doubt it affects how the ski slides rails, but regular waxing will help you maintain the durability of the base better and slide nicer, allowing you to judge speed better and boost higher in the pipe.

wax your idiots. it maintains the base of your ski....its just like changing the oil in your car. and YES wax on skis is better for rails, its not going to slide better, but any dirt, grime or residue(small of course) from shit will be caught in the wax and not ripped into your base.

is it really a question as to whether to wax your stuff or not? anybody who doesnt is really just stupid

you slide smoother and carry speed better with skis that are waxed then scraped really good. so wax your skis but be shure to scrape them also. unless your doin a knarly ledge that will tear up your bases
