Waterproofing Mitts

I want to make my Kinco leather mitts more waterproof because they get completely waterlogged some wet days. I already used the stuff that comes with the gloves but it didn’t do much. Suggestions?

Sno seal, super cheap and works well

this. get a jar of it at the hardware store or whatever. I got it at Ace hardware in my small town. lots of ways to do it some people use their mom's oven or whatever but you need to get the stuff nice and warm to work it into the leather. I had a bald guy give me a brand new hair dryer for helping move out of his college housing and that is what I use

I highly recommend mink oil. Sno-seal is good but I find it makes stuff super stiff, whereas Mink Oil actually makes leather softer, more flexible, AND more waterproof. Shoe stores usually carry it

agreed. recently i got a can of a spray version made by the same brand, ive applied it (easy, and the stuff looks good) but haven't used them in wet conditions yet so i can't yet speak to how well it works compared to the normal sno seal
