Here's the deal. Jon wins it every year. The problem is that the general public doesn't know skiing well enough to understand style. So the judges are more likely to score bigger spins better than stylie ones. Jon's run oozed style. But that's not going to win the X Games.

I understand that you say but in this occasion I believe that it is not this way. Jon Olsson has a bag of tricks that little riders has. He likes more the style and I sincerely think that has to have stocking between style and difficulty. The tanner run for my it is worse than Jon run sure and it is not the only year that is this way but jon is always third.

In WSI big jump jon made 720 true nose very style but he know that it is not won with that he made switch cork 1080 perfect. slope STYLE is not big jump, it is some everything and I believe that jon have of everything and all perfect one

 
Jon didn't get robbed. He would have easily won gold had he not fallen on his last run. I think his run was on par if not better than either tanner's or gagnier's. But the scores always increase as the competition goes on, so to expect that his first run would have held up against everybody else's second is ridiculous. It is because of this gradual scoring increase that it's advantageous to go last. May not be fair, but that's how judging works. And as far as Gagnier and Tanner, I think it's a toss up. While I wasn't impressed with the style of the 1-footer, it was pretty technically difficult. His last three hits were nearly flawless. And Tanner did put a hand down on the last hit and landed a bit sketch on the 2nd to last one. But Jon should have won that if he didn't fuck up. Man, is he smooth.

i agree jons first run in my opinon was the best run any skier had this year. Down to the smallest details like riding switch between hits, and landing switch smooth, he was perfect in those

for all those that havent really studied the media: this is television. they are trying to make money off of it. if they get a good score early on, the suspense doesnt build and people lose interest, meaning less people see the commercials that make their money. judging is crap

Jon gets fucked every year by the judging, but as someone said before, 2nd runs are always scored higher than the first runs, and that's the same in every sport. When you go first in every sport event, you never get what you deserve, either higher or lower, because the judges have to set their marks with the first run. But yeah, Jon got robbed once again, and had he stomp his first run in the second round, he would have won for sure. Nonetheless, congrats Charles, you're the man !

Charles was by FAR the cleanest of them all, and went HUGE on his last 1080 and stomped it so much cleaner than Tanner.

He did an unatural sw 3 and sw cork 7. The unnatty sw cork 7 was cleaner and smoother than anything Tanner did in his entire run.

^his definetely wasnt cleaner than jons. watch the second rail hit and the hip landing both a little sketch. but jon didnt win cuz they judge the second run higher than the first

^Charles unnatty 7 was way cleaner and twice as stylie as Jon's unnatty 7, plus it was corked while Jon's wasn't.
