Hey guys, I'm just about getting set on the Opus, but am a little put off because the ski is not rockered. mainly I am looking for a playful and poppy ski that has more of a medium range flex. I like playing around with a ski all over the mountain and sending drops, but when it comes to the steep and deeps I like to charge. I wish I had an opportunity to demo these, but I want to get an opinion on how these might do in heavier snow and maybe some alternatives I should consider. One Love
 
They aren't FULLY rocker'd because that is a design idea that is obsolete unless you are skiing bottomless untracked snow that won't get skied out.

The amount of splay in the tip and tail is more than for the ski to be playful.
