Washing boot liners?

Has anyone ever washed their boot liners and threw em in the dryer after?

My liners are super packed out, and they smell terrible. I left them in my hot car the other day and almost passed out lol

I'll buy new liners next season, but is there any way to wash em??

The only problem I can think of is that they're heat molded, and might shrink in the drier. But at this point they're so packed out would it even matter??

Fill a laundry tub or sink with warm water adding some liquid laundry detergent to the water. Pull your insoles out and let the liners sit in the water for a bit. Hand wash them by moving them around in the water a bit and then rinse them off with fresh hot water. Do the same with the insoles.

Hand dry outside on a laundry line upside down or on a chair in the sun. Leave them out of the boots and let them air dry completely inside after that if needed.

For your next liners get some dry guy boot dryers (like $30) and stick em in the boots after you ski. They will dry and never smell bad.

I’d try the oxyclean and go we with a cold water wash. If your boots are toxic what do you have to lose?
