This is going to be one fun day!! . There will food, drinks, music and

lots of snow. We will be jamming most the day. It will be a $10.00

dollar minimum donation to do the event. There will be a raffle, lots

of prizes, and it is for a good cause. Once everyone is felling good we

will start the Jam session, we go for a couple hours so there is no

rush on getting your tricks. Then everyone can keep shredding on. This

rail jam is ...for

fun so there will be no judges, you will judge amongst your selves. You

decide who kept the stoke all day and killed it. We will use the crowd

for tie beakers. Everyone who does the event gets a free raffle ticket,

and a free day pass to the Wasatch Project/CIK foam pit.. See everyone

there and remember its not just a rail jam its a fundraiser!

Theres more!

The

Jam is going on at the same time and in conjunction with the Ogden

Vally Winter Sports Foundation Ski Swap. Sell your old gear, and get

some new gear at the same time as you shred the new Wasatch project jam

feature. All the info about the swap can be found on the web at http://snowbasinskiswap.com/

Think Endlesswinter and see you there.

I think it's gonna be at the CIK skate park....maybe we could convince them to build a drop in for skiers/snowboarders:...any idea as to when the pit might be completed?

it is going to be at Cik skate park, AND.............. there is going to be a drop in for skiers/boarders!

wasnt supposed to say anything yet but oh well, they hope to start construction soooon

Do you know what kind of drop in they are going to have? hopefully they can learn something from jibyard and not make the transition incredibly tight, not to diss on the jibyard that place was awesome to bad it shut down. but please leave some space to get ready for the jump, the jibyard had about twenty feet from where the transition started to flaten to where the lip of the jump is, it gave you no time at all.

yeah Simon, the owner of Cik, said that they plan to build it more user friendly and not as sketchy as Jibyard's jump. Don't get me wrong though, I loved the Jibyard.

I just talked to him a minute or two ago and he said that they are still trying to figure out what will work best. My friends dad owns all the rollers and snowflex from the Jibyard. And Simon wants to get the snowflex all cleaned up and do some tests on it to see if it will work for what he has in mind. But how the jump is going to be set up is not for sure yet. He told me he'd call me and have me come in for the tests when the snowflex is ready.

really push them towards the snowflex...i know it's way more expensive, but it's also soooo much better and less sketchy

It will be snowflex, powder pack, or some other type of material. Rollers were trademarked by the jibyard and there for can not be used unless a patten is bought. also the amount of hang time will be unknown until the jump is hit, some one could make an estimate but it would probably be quite wong. *end fragment and grammar errors.

Cik's first foam pit is done!!this one will be used for skating, streetboarding, rollerblading and such.not sure when, but they plan on getting a gymnastics tramp to put along side it.

not sure yet. they haven't started construction on it yet.but as soon as i find out ill post it on this thread

Prob not until Spring.more people are going to want to use it during the summer anyway.so they are waiting for the snow to disappear.makes sense

damn really? oh well may have to bust out the inline skates...is there any chances of it opening during the season or is it most likely going to be the spring?

spring.they figured why build it when people can just hit snow jumps.but yeah feel free to come hit the other foam pit!
