Warren Miller's Off the Grid

well i would go but the tix are about 20 bucks in new york for the premiere at rochester...wtf is that i can basically buy the movie for almost that much

this may seen like a dumb dumb question.. but is warren miller still alive? i know he has been making movies since like the 70's at least hasent he?

p.s. i know its called Warren Miller's Off the Grid but i figured warren miller is like poor boys productions if you get my drift.. meaning his name is his film company.

it's like $35 for the one wednesday in new york. you get a free day pass to two diff mountains, and also a free one year subscription to ski or skiing magazine. i'd go, but it would prob be mad crowded and not as cool as going to like the anomaly premiere or something.

I like going to the premiers. They give out tons of free stuff at miller premiers. Plus its nice to see a differnet format than all the level one and poor boys style films. Each year they add more freeskiing as we gain repect so it should be interesting to see.

im goin to the one in toronto, ive been going to see his annual film every year for 5 years staight

So who's goin to this one who hasn't said anything? I'm tryin to get some people from my school but everyone's either busy or uninterested it seems...

i go to his new ones every year but ever since his son sold the company the movies have just been going downhill and getting really shitty i dont know if its just me but the last good one he had was storm or fifty...fifty was sweet...shouldnt of gave the company to his son...he ruined it

I liked them in the like vertical reality and endless winter days. I heard 50 was good though.

ive seen higher ground and storm premeires, and i'd love to go to the one in Stamford, CT but i don't know when it is and i'll try to go with people i know this year cause i always see people there. should be fun i just have to find out when it is.

So I don't have a credit card, so can't buy tickets online. the box office said they think there'll be tickets left tomorrow night. What do you think? Also, can I expect any free stuff?

well on line it said anyone who goes gets a free mid-week lift ticket to smuggs and killington i think, and 6 issues of skiing magazine. they might also give out some other stuff too but idk.

he doesnt have like anything to do with it really anymore, his son or someone took it over or some shit, yea hes still alive

i went to the premiere in rochester , NY it was pretty cool and the crowd was pretty stoked, there wasn't like any companys or vendor kinda things there but u get a free pass for killington, peak n peek and mountsnow so if you use any of those the cost of the ticket isn't that bad once you think about it
