Impact was pretty good, but the movies are getting worse and worse. its starting to become more big mountain skiing, and less funny narration. i mean, how many mountain faces can you just ski down before it starts to get really boring?

Each show brings in a lot of money that gets spent again, I wouldn't be surprised if the overall profit isn't super huge. Yes he's (arrg) rich, but he's (argg) been saving and making money for 50 years.

i just got back from the 630 bushnell show- and i think the quality of impact was way trashier than the last few-- my favorite in the last few years has definetly been cold fusion; i agree with whoever said that big mountain skiing is getting a little bit boring. its good to an extent and then somehow it just doesnt cut it, unless you're out there.

His movies are decent in a filmmakers point of view. But he has been doing the same thing for the past 50 years, just a lack of something new. I used to watch his movies all the time but after a while you get kind of bored of them since they are all alike. A good producer, just his time is passing. The movies are meant to attract your average Joe anyways, thats the reason why we have PBP and Level1.

How many big national sponsors like Jeep, Nature Valley, Nissan, REI, etc. does PBP MSP and Level1 pull out? None. That is why Warren Miller has succeeded as much as he has financially. As far as film quality goes, it is about what you can expect when you have those kind of sponsors. So its a tossup of what is most important. I still go to them just because it is a tradition, but Impact couldnt even stand close to a film like X.

cold fusion is by far the best WM movie in years. i bought that one on DVD it was so good. journey was decent, and storm sucked. ride was ok as well, with the brothers building that huge kicker setup in the midwest.......

i'm going to see impact on like the 12th or something at the palace in albany....... gonna be sweet......

ok, but I would be very suprised if level1 pulls in the same cash that WM does through sponsorships. Warren Miller is just more commercialized.
