Warren Miller has macular degeneration

According to his recent facebook post. It's basically when the center part of the retina goes bad. Well, I'm convinced to finally buy some sunglasses. I think some research has indicated that UV rays aren't a huge cause but I'm not about to let any type of ionizing radiation near my eyes, which are a really light blue to begin with too.

While its sad, it is semi cureable. Or at least it can be delayed. My grandpa has the same thing, and he gets shots in his eyes and it basically slows the degeneration a lot.
