i've boycotted their movies ever since they tried to sue level one.

Did they win the Level 1 lawsuit? Or just the one agains Warren Miller himself?

literally the most horrendous piece of ski film making that I saw at IF3, I feel bad for the skiers

Warren Miller needs to get control of this company again. It's being run into the ground.

He's 92 I doubt he has any interest in running a business at his age, and it'd be interesting to see how he feels about being sued by his own Son for trying to do what he's always done which is showcase skiing. He's an icon, but WWE isn't Warren Miller.

He wasn't sued by his own son. He gave the company to his son and then his son sold it, and then I think it was sold again.

If anyone with the real lowdown on what went on with Level 1 & WWE it's been a few years shed some light on it

are they still buying b-roll/cutting room floor footage from other companies to splice together? filmmaking at its finest!!!!

WME has a template they use to make movies... So they basically turn out the exact same content every year which makes for a shit film with no room for creativity or innovation. As a result the only people who like their movies are old people, and poser ski families who have never been exposed to anything of quality. Props to companies like Level 1 and Nimbus and others who take risks and put out new and creative content that's innovative and something the everyday committed skier can relate to.
