They look ridiculous and I think they would have a pretty horrible field of view due to their size. The only time wearing these goggles would be acceptable is on Gaper Day.

they've raised 80% of the money needed on Kickstarter so despite the fact that the goggle doesn't have what most people here would consider "finesse"...
enough Star Wars fans are real hyped on the idea and are willing to support the cause
case and point. if you've got a unique product, you might be able to make some $$$$ and succeed in the snow-sports industry with a comeup on Kickstarter
alternatively if you setup a Kickstarter to pay back your college loans, it's gonna take a very persuasive post to raise almost 4K
