After the Burial, Anti-Flag, Born of Osiris, and Rise Against are the only bands that are worth seeing. Everything else is just some scene bullshit or crappy metalcore. I think someone should go and count the number of breakdowns that are played in one day.

As a matter of fact I don't know what BOO and ATB are doing on that lineup. Progressive/Death Metal doesn't have much of a place there.
 
i'm not sure why you make this point in this thread. this is my first time ever attending such an event. streetlight manifesto is sick so im stoked for them at least!
 
I don't mean to bash on anyone for the music they listen too. I just want to point out the incredible decline in the quality of music being listened to by the masses. Maybe not the right place, but seems like a good place to start.
 
They have bands like that every year, like last year they had Winds of Plague.

Personally Im into hardcore, so its all essentially disappointing to me.

yeah this. the only part of Warped Tour that caters to hardcore kids is throwing rocks at the members of Black Veil Brides and beating scene kids to death for stepping in my pit. however, TGI will be fucking awesome.
 
oh word taking back sunday? ive always liked them. most of the bands that play events like this i havent listened to since i was in seventh or eighth grade. but im flying out to visit my friend and shd seems pretty excited about all of this :p
 
I'm pretty skeptical either way. And I forgot to mention the worst aspect of it all. HARDCORE DANCING. My god, those people are retards. I've nearly gotten kicked in the face multiple times because of hardcore dancers. Just get the fuck out of the "pit" and start actually moshing. Too bad they probably would get destroyed if there actually was a pit.

the scene kids are pretty annoying, but im looking at all the concerts the summer and i dont see much except for warped
 
any good bands other then boo? stopped going to warped a couple years ago cause its usually just gay emo or hardcore bands or whatever. if there was more death core bands i would go
 
Since you seem to be looking at metal the only other metal band that I like there is After the Burial. Chelsea Grin is the only deathcore band on the bill I think. I haven't really checked. Not really a fan of them. Whitechapel is the only deathcore band that i can listen to.
