War, the best movie since 1242?

I just got war for christmas, and between the sick mixture of prak, backcountry booters, and urban assualts, i believe that it is the best movie since 1242. The soundtrack also had a nice array of hip hop and some othe rgood stuff, and the editing and theme were also dope. If you havent seen it yet, war is definitely worth buying or at least just seeing
 
I dont know. thats hard to compete with. I say its basically a dead even tie. Watch out for level one next season though. Its gonna be sick.
 
o shit i forgot. you just broke the tie. I really hope Boyd is in it next year. He needs to remind everyone to go have fun.
 
1242 was just not my style at all.

war blows it away.

booter crunk was even better tho.

a lot more skiing in it..just a longer movie.

idk, i just dont like hip hop or rap.

ski videos should have NOFX and black flag and billy talent in them.

not just solid hip hop.
 
how the fuck was 1242 not your style...def the climax of all ski movies...it reminds us why were all out thier...to just have fun. that is why its the best film ever, even though its not the best edited or even shot...but just for the fact taht the riding is infact way ahead of its time and the soundtrack is dope....
 
I think war was a bad movie, music didnt flow..it just didnt fit, and it was just the same movie as RFA and X, exept the skiing itself.. come on PBP, bring back movies like 1242 and happy dayz!
 
War is dope. The comic book thing was cool, and I didn't mind the music like everyone else. Pep's segment is still really amazing and JP's segment is really surprising. Get this movie.
 
war is definitely amazing, and the best movie i have seen so far this year (i have only seen tangerine dream and hit list as well), but i dont think it measures up to session 1242 at all. come on people are you forgetting tanner, mick d and jon?
 
i don't know... war is becoming a classic for me with every passing year... war was sick this year though. But where's boyd, and jf?... and the hot shots of kristi in 1242.....
 
War was just lacking the lifestyle aspect of it and really you cannot compare 1242 with any ski movie just because of the content it had and at the time it was released at. You won't see anything really all that crazy that will revolutionize skiing anymore like the huge switch powder landings that Pep flawlessly executed.
 
shut up theres so many posts on this. dont claim it as the best. everyone likes different shit. you probably havent seen some of the other movies so you cant compare it. keep your opinion to yourself because its already been posted 126.57 times
